Website updates

I’ve spent the last week overhauling the structure of Come Hither Books and putting better tools into place to help you find what you want, faster.

Customized Experience

The sidebar has been completely redesigned to give you exactly what you’re looking for, when you’re looking for it. You will get different featured reviews, quotes and recommended posts depending on what you’re looking at currently. If you come here for top ten lists, you’ll see featured lists and blogging highlights. If you’re reading a graphic novel review, you’ll see featured reviews and quotes from other great graphic novels. If you’re a fantasy fan, you’ll find fantasy galore. And so on, for every blog category.

Please, poke around. Explore some categories from the drop down box and see how it affects what you see. I’d love to know what you think.

New Content

The About page has been redone, and there’s a brand new For Readers guide to help you find your way around. It includes things like a posting schedule and what features you can expect to see here. Take a look!

A poll question for YA readers

For YA reviews which also match a genre category, you will see two featured reviews and two quotes. I haven’t figured out a way around the double features yet, but they will always be for different posts. (This will sometimes affect graphic novel reviews as well, but not as frequently.)

YA readers, I’m asking for your opinion. Please take a look at this post. Take a look at how the sidebar looks with two featured reviews and two quotes.
What is your preference?

Comments are welcome. I’d love to know what you think about these changes. What do you look for most? Is there anything missing you’d like to see?
