Terry Pratchett 1948-2015

“The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.”

    • I know him more from interviews and for his openness about his struggles with Alzheimer’s than from his fiction, I admit. But that’s enough to admire and respect him.

I’m planning to remedy that soon though, and give his fiction a better shot. There’s a long discussion of where to start here. When I tried him before, I started with a poor match to my taste. This time I’m going to be more deliberate about choosing.
